Battle Of Britain (1969)
4K UHD + Blu-ray Limited Edition Hardbox + Hardback Booklet
Imprint Collection #500

“We’re short of 200 pilots. Those we have are tired, strained, and all overdue for relief. We’re fighting for survival. Losing. We don’t need a big wing or a small wing. We need pilots. And a miracle.”

After the tremendous success of our 2024 release of A Bridge Too Far, we are thrilled to nosedive back into World War II with 1969 epic Battle of Britain, coming to 4K UHD for the first time worldwide, fully restored by Imprint Films from the original 35mm negative.

This is an aviation spectacular like no other. Filled with extraordinary large-scale flying sequences and heart-stopping assaults, director Guy Hamilton (Goldfinger) pulled off a miracle bringing this film to life, a mammoth undertaking in scale and combat.

Based on the real-life events from July to October 1940 and the book The Narrow Margin by Derek Wood and Derek Dempster, Academy Award-winning cinematographer Freddie Young (Lawrence of Arabia) tackled the daring undertaking of capturing these daring recreations.

An all-star cast leads us into battle, including Laurence Olivier, Michael Caine, Christopher Plummer, Robert Shaw, Harry Andrews, Kenneth More, Trevor Howard, Patrick Wymark, Ian McShane, Michael Redgrave, Michael Bates, Edward Fox, Nigel Patrick, Ralph Richardson, Susannah York, and Curd Jürgens.

This brand NEW 4K restoration comes loaded with brand NEW and archival Special Features, and is housed in a strictly Limited Edition 3-Disc Hardbox with an exclusive 100-page hardback booklet.

1500 copies only.
