To Sir With Love II (1995) Sidney Poitier returns as teacher Mark Thackeray in this sequel to the 1967 classic. This time round Thackeray has swapped the streets of London for those of down-town Chicago, faced with the challenge of convincing hardened gang members that there is an alternative to street violence. As he struggles to instill respect and understanding in his students, he also pursues his first love; a woman he knew thirty years ago when he was a young man in Guyana.
