The Little Prince (1974) - Limited Edition Blu-ray - Imprint Collection #706

Worldwide first on Blu-ray!

Directed by Stanley Donen (Singin’ in the Rain), The Little Prince is a Hollywood retelling of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic children-adult novella, starring two-time Tony Award winner Richard Kiley, Gene Wilder (Young Frankenstein), and Bob Fosse (director of Cabaret and All That Jazz).

A pilot crashes his plane in the Sahara Desert and encounters an otherworldly young prince who has travelled from his tiny asteroid home to explore the universe. As the prince recounts his extraordinary journey, the pilot begins to see the world anew through the eyes of a child who refuses to think like a grown-up.

Shot in Tunisia, the film features music from songwriting duo Lerner and Loewe (Camelot, My Fair Lady) in their final collaboration, which earned them two Academy Award nominations.

1500 copies only.
