Tintin, a globetrotting young Belgian reporter with a nose for trouble, has been captivating readers around the world since Hergé first put pen to paper in 1929.
This Limited Edition collection brings Tintin home to Imprint Television, featuring all 39 half-hour episodes of the animated 90s series restored in HD, the three Belvision animated films from 1963 - 1972, and two feature documentaries that dive inside the history of the legendary character and his creation.
The animated 90s French-Canadian series The Adventures of Tintin saw the plucky adventurer, his faithful white terrier Snowy, the irascible Captain Haddock, the absent-minded Professor Calculus, and the bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson leap from the page to the small screen, captivating viewers worldwide; from hunting pirates' buried treasure and foiling international smuggling rings, to a landmark moon landing sequence that pioneered the use of 3D animation.
Three decades earlier, Tintin had three animated feature-length outings: The Calculus Affair (1963), Seven Crystal Balls and The Prisoners of the Sun (1969), and Tintin and the Lake of Sharks (1972) - all included here, fully restored in HD.
Finally, dive behind the scenes of Hergé and his iconic characters with two feature documentaries: Tintin & I (2003), and I, Tintin (1976).
