Swamp Thing (1982) - Imprint Collection #651

Horror legend Wes Craven wrote and directed the screen debut for Swamp Thing, a 1982 sci-fi horror starring Ray Wise (Twin Peaks), Louis Jourdan (Octopussy), Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog), and actor/stuntman Dick Durock as the titular hero.

Mutated by his own secret formula, Dr. Alec Holland becomes Swamp Thing: a half-human, half-plant superhero who will stop at nothing to rescue government agent Alice Cable and defeat his evil arch-nemesis… even if it costs him his life.

Released between Craven classics The Hills Have Eyes and A Nightmare on Elm Street, Swamp Thing is an affectionate, witty comic book spectacle, awarded three out of four stars from critic Roger Ebert, presented on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray in both its Uncut and Theatrical Versions.
