Starsky & Hutch screeched on to our TVs in 1975, bringing all of the action and excitement of the big screen on to the small screen, in what would become the quintessential series of the era. It introduced us to Dave Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser) and Ken ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson (David Soul), two streetwise Detectives who weren’t afraid to bend the rules to get results.
With the help of their gruff boss and jive-talking informant Huggy Bear, Starsky & Hutch were a crime-fighting dynamic duo – driving around town in their signature Ford Gran Torino and cleaning the streets of the scum of the city.
