Destination Moonbase-Alpha (1978)

The people who inhabit a base on Earth’s runaway moon are visited by what seems to be a rescue ship from Earth. What they don’t know is that they are under the hypnotic power of horrifying alien creatures who are planning to destroy the moon and tap into its exploding energy.

Alien Attack (1979)

A tremendous explosion, caused by Earth’s nuclear waste stored on the moon, rips the moon out of Earth’s orbit and hurtles the inhabitants of Moonbase Alpha on an uncontrolled journey through the cosmos. Out in the depths of space, the Moonbase picks up strange signals from a powerful alien race. These signals are translated to mean an attack on Earth from a powerful alien warship.

Spazio: 1999 (1975)

Commander John Koenig is urgently summoned to direct a rescue operation on Moonbase Alpha: the atomic waste stockpile buried on the dark side has already caused several deaths and is in danger of going critical. But the effort is in vain and the waste detonates – blowing the moon out of its orbit to head towards the darkness of space!

This Italian-language compilation film includes music from legendary composer Ennio Morricone.
