After years of missing family gatherings, New York City event planner Whitney is off to Chicago to spend Christmas with Grandma Frances. But in an unfortunate turn of events, Whitney mistakenly throws out a box of precious family ornaments. The person who finds the ornaments leads Whitney on a scavenger hunt to retrieve them, helping her to find the magic of Christmas again along the way.
