DESCRIPTION
Both episodes from the 14th and final series of the ITV crime thriller, based on the novels by Ann Cleeves in which Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope (Brenda Blethyn) and her team carry out various murder investigations in Northumberland.
In this series, Vera investigates the case of a man imprisoned, perhaps unjustly, for killing his wife 20 years ago and the murder of a university student. Meanwhile, she must confront painful memories from her childhood and make a decision about her future.
