The Mosquito Coast is an American adventure, drama and thriller series based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Paul Theroux and inspired in part by its earlier film adaptation. The series stars Justin Theroux as Allie Fox, an idealistic but increasingly unstable inventor and radical thinker, with Melissa George as his wife Margot, and their teenage daughter and young son rounding out the central Fox family.
