Crime drama masterpiece duo Prison On Fire + Prison On Fire II join the Imprint Asia collection on 4K UHD & Blu-ray!

Starring Hong Kong cinema legend Chow Yun-Fat as convicted felon Chung Tin-ching, who befriends fellow inmate Lo Ka-yiu (Tony Leung Ka-fai).  The two brawl with wardens and prisoners, culminating in violent showdowns and a brotherly kinship between them.

Directed by Ringo Lam (City on Fire), these two films are amongst the grittiest entries in the Golden Princess film catalogue, and were both nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

This special release features an exclusive SteelBook with the films remastered on 4K UHD and Blu-ray from their original 35mm negatives, and a 60-page Hardcover Booklet with production stills and brand NEW essays from Panos Kotzathanasis, all housed in a Lid Hardbox.

Lo Ka Yiu, a young ad designer who is sentenced to jail for manslaughter, has gotten himself in trouble with the corrupted wardens and fellow inmates of Triad background. Chung Tin-ching, a veteran inmate and Yiu’s mentor, is forced to confront his comrade’s enemies time and again, leading up to the final showdown with the head of security.
